Position: Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Compliance

We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Compliance. If you're passionate about maintaining high standards in food safety and ensuring regulatory compliance while contributing to operational excellence, this opportunity is for you!


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and monitor integrated food safety and compliance frameworks aligned with HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Design and deliver targeted training sessions on food safety, occupational health & safety, and environmental compliance for both site-level and management teams.
  • Conduct risk evaluations, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate and assist with external audits, regulatory reviews, and certification procedures.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of detailed documentation for all compliance and quality assurance operations.
  • Lead on-site evaluations, staff training, compliance checks, and investigations related to incidents across business units.
  • Stay updated with legislation, industry trends, and technological advancements, and revise company policies as needed.
  • Track and report performance indicators, identify potential risks, and offer strategic recommendations for continuous process improvement to the leadership team.


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Technology, Nutrition, Food Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in food safety, quality assurance, or compliance in the food manufacturing or services sector.
  • Prior exposure to the catering or hospitality industry will be a significant asset.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and experience managing audits and inspections.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across different service locations (SBUs).
